Department Responsibilities:The parks department is responsible for the up-keep of all parks in the City of Niles, including all baseball and soccer fields, and Waddell Swimming Pool. They accept reservations for pavilions, and the cabin, May thru September. They offer exercise classes, tennis classes, day camp, and baseball camp. We also work closely with Niles Youth Baseball League, the Niles Soccer League, Niles McKinley Boy's Baseball and Girls Softball, and the Little Red Dragons.

The newly renovated Wilder Field is one of the finest field in the area, and is home to the Niles McKinley Baseball Team.

The newly renovated South Field is the home of the Niles McKinley Girls Softball Team.

The swimming pool is open June, July, and August, everyday from Noon to 6:00 PM. To contact the pool, call 330-652-6100. The pool can be rented for Private parties!

Niles Recreation Golden League will hold an informational  meeting March 11, 2010 6:00 p.m. at the Wellness Center for all players age 50 plus.

Youth League Baseball Sign-ups are being held at the Wellness Center on the following dates:
February 13      10a.m. to 3p.m.
February 17      5p.m. to 9p.m.
February 20      10a.m. to 3p.m.
February 21      1p.m. to 4p.m.

Youth League Soccer Sign-ups are being held at the Wellness Center on the following dates:

Pavillion/Cabin Rentals: Pavillions and cabin are available for rent from May-end of September. Please see prices below. Call Parks Department to inquire about availability. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Stevens Park:
Only available for Niles civic groups and church groups. $100 deposit. $50 returned if everything is treated with respect, and cleaned up afterward.
